LETTERS BY:

STORY:
Civil war has torn apart the galaxy as some of the most distant and most impoverished human colonies have turned their backs on the government of the United Earth Colonies. Centuries of space travel have seen the human race spread far and wide, but the Earth government, reliant on the minerals and fuel mined by the colonies, is intent on maintaining control. The war has been a bloodbath, and calls for peace have grown louder by the day. The UEC’s answer? A new army of remotely-operated combat infantry drones.

DRONE: UPRISING follows the deployment of conscript Natalie Assenberg, one of the Earth fleet’s first drone operators, as she heads out to the colonial frontier to wage war against the dissenting colonists. A loner who is in her own words “not a people person”, she soon finds a connection with her combat drone, a Semi-Autonomous Nodal Defence Endoskeleton that she affectionately nicknames “Sandy,” who becomes her only friend in the far reaches of colonial space.

DRONE will be released, page-by-page, for FREE on the 3rd Phase website. For up-to-date news on DRONE, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
